Just got back from fall break and don't wanna get back to work again, haha. My birthday was on Sunday, too. I'm almost not a teenager anymore. Yikes. I had a nice day, though--treated myself to an evening of video games, which I haven't played in... months. Roommate took me out for frozen yogurt the night before, which was also nice. Also got the most epic "birthday present" ever: a limo ride to campus. XD I've never been in a limo before, and the ridiculousness of it had me on the verge of cracking up the whole hour from the airport. (Was gonna take trains, but my friend who happened to be on the same flight offered to let me share his ride--apparently he thought it was just gonna be a car, haha.)
Still no real art to show for myself. Dumb thing about going to school so far away is I can't take my tablet home with me for breaks. :< Dunno what I'll do this summer... (Well, hopefully I'll be in Japan and too busy to art, but the program I'm looking at is pretty competitive, so...) And, yeah, way too busy at school. So much reading, ugh. ("Here, read these hundred pages of ancient Chinese poems by tomorrow!"--and, no, not exaggerating.)
Get to see Ponyo for free this Friday, which is pretty exciting. =3 Apparently our Japanese department is just awesome. (The Powerpoints our professors use are basically "Find the Totoro." XD Another movie I apparently need to see--everyone in class gasped at me when I said I hadn't.)
Yeah--looking forward to Thanksgiving break already, though, haha. But I have to skip my creative writing workshop on Wednesday, because P-ton doesn't give us that day off. :< Like, seriously? Because no one will be wanting to go home to their families for Thanksgiving. Grr. And I'm just flying to Omaha, those poor people in California (not to mention Hawaii!)...
Ah, yes, and I joined a tutoring project my school's Catholic group is doing, working with a charter school in downtown Trenton aimed at getting kids to go to college. It's pretty neat--all the teachers decorate their rooms with their alma mater's paraphernalia. There's a P-ton grad ('08)working there, so there's a Tiger room, too. =3 So I get to tutor English, which is pretty exciting, working one-on-one with a fifth grader. I felt so old, though, 'cause the teacher I got partnered with introduced herself by her first name to me, and the girl I was working with called me "miss." The first one was fine, but the second made me sad, haha. I'm not a "miss." >_o
But it's midnight and I should get to bed. >_> Need sleeeeeep...

I love how you do hair xD

Take my hand, we'll make it - I swear!
And, yeah, hair is probably my most favorite thing to draw ever, haha. (You can never have too many random swirly lines! It's like a basic law of nature or something.)

It used to be the bane of my existence, though... hair and cloth folds. Oh gahl, cloth folds... ("Whadaya mean I can't just draw random X's and V's everywhere??")
